Pororo Park Singapore opens its doors in November 2015

South Korea’s Top Animation Character Pororo Makes His Way to Singapore with Southeast Asia’s First Pororo Park! 

Dubbed “President of Kids” in South Korea with over 6.8 billion views on its YouTube channel, widely popular animation character Pororo the Little Penguin will be making its grand arrival to the shores of Singapore come 11th November 2015 with the launch of Pororo Park Singapore. The award-winning animation is broadcasted over 130 countries, including Disney Junior Channel and Okto Channel in Singapore. 

This joint collaboration between Iconix Co. Ltd. and DreamUs Edutainment Pte. Ltd. marks the opening of the first Pororo Park in Southeast Asia and in Asia outside of South Korea and China. Conveniently located in the heart of the city at Marina Square’s new retail wing, fans of Pororo can delight in the 11,000 square feet indoor edutainment playground that integrates a theme ride, indoor playground attractions, educational classes and entertaining shows under one roof. 

Play, Learn and Experience

Pororo Park Singapore is themed around the animated series that follows the adventurous Pororo and friends, who often encounter challenges and learn practical and moral lessons through their exciting adventures in Porong Porong Forest.  

Set to be an integrated entertainment and educational indoor playground that educates young children aged 1 to 9 years old, young and adventurous fans of Pororo will enjoy the various entertainment facilities including Pororo Express – a train ride for kids and the iconic centrepiece of Pororo Park; Pororo House – a replica of Pororo’s House; Shark Ball Pool and Poby’s Jungle Gym.   

Also featured in Pororo Park Singapore are Eddy and Petty’s Rooms – two classrooms cum party rooms themed after animation characters of the series, Eddy and Petty. Aside from holding characterthemed birthday parties, educational classes such as Petty’s Art Class and Eddy’s Science Class will also be held regularly to provide a holistic edutainment environment that takes fun and creative learning to a whole new level. 

Both the young and young at heart can also look forward to mini parades, character meet-and-greets, and sing-along shows featuring Pororo and friends at TongTong’s Little Theatre. Additional shows will be scheduled on weekends to ensure that every minute spent at Pororo Park Singapore is filled with boundless fun and endless surprises. 

Eat and Shop to Your Heart’s Delight in Loopy’s Café and Rody’s Toy Store

The 60-seater Loopy’s Café offers a delectable offering for both adults and kids main dishes and desserts, all with an awe-inspiring view of the Marina Bay skyline. The café will also provide free Wi-Fi so that parents can stay connected while the kids enjoy themselves in the park.  

Visitors can get their retail therapy fix and purchase their favourite original character-themed souvenir as a form of memorabilia from Rody’s Toy Store. The retail store will house a variety of items ranging from toys, stationery to kid apparels and other souvenir items.
