Baby Beats

A stimulating course that builds the child's response to music and prepares him for the discipline of learning an instrument. This is a general music class that covers key musical elements, but with a focus on starting the VIOLIN. Depending on the child's age, the syllabus is covered over 4 terms (10 weeks per term). They will enter the world of classical music, opera, dance and symphonies through classical masterpieces by composers such as Beethoven, Mozart and Tchaikovsky. Rhythm, pitch, dynamics and note recognition will also be introduced through singing, listening, musical games and stories. At the end of this program, we hope your child will be ready to progress on to TWINKLE or KINDERVIOLIN

Just started my daughter in the Baby Beats class at 2 years 9 months old. She enjoys singing and dancing along in the class. The teacher will incorporate other learnings with music like shapes and colours, numbers and alphabets and names of composers during the lessons. Introduction of basic music knowledge is taught by getting the children involved through games played in the classroom. I'm rather pleasantly surprised that the children are immediately introduced to the violin at Baby Beats class. They are taught to hold the bow properly and play on each string. The brightly lit classroom is not cramped for 6 children with accompanied parent. It is really a good place to embark on the music journey for the little ones.
