    Variety of learning methods

    August 29, 2016 11:40:31 AM
I am impressed with the variety of learning methods that The Learning Lab have designed to teaching the different Math concept - through the use of audio and video , hands-on activities, games and worksheets. My daughter looks forward to her classes as her teacher is very encouraging and full of energy. I appreciate that her teacher will also feedback to me after each lesson so that I will know what has been taught for that day and what I can do to reinforce learning at home. The worksheets are designed very well and I would say their curriculum is beyond the normal school standard for that level. I can see that she is now more able to do her work more independently and with more confidence.

    Coolest Enrichment Centre

    March 28, 2016 9:33:44 PM
The Learning Lab at United Square is the coolest enrichment center ever. The environment is really conducive for learning and all classrooms are named after major cities which is really cool. Their classrooms are like mini boardrooms styled with long tables and a whiteboard and then there's also a mini library where their students can borrow books. For the Math class, I find that the teacher is rather organized and systematic and approachable to ask about the progress of my child in her class. They will also play games to understand the concepts better, The worksheets given are said to be designed by their in house curriculum team and are said to be purposely made more difficult to challenge the child and give their students a head start among others. The teacher also expects that their students complete the homework given without much assistance from parents so that the she will know at which level the child is. Heard there's usually long waiting list for their primary school Math but since we started since K1, I believe we should be given priority to their primary school classes.
