Perfect Babies - Music Together
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 7. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical. Comprises of 3 sessions of our Music Together Program (45mins per session) Parent/child can start lessons anytime by joining on-going classes or soon to be opened classes. The 3 sessions have to be completed within a 4 week period, counting from the first session. Parent/child can choose to attend make up lessons on any of the available on-going classes.

Brought my 9 months old baby for their trial class at $20 (1-hr parent accompanied class). We were lucky that there were only 3 babies in the class, so there were more interaction and space for us. We were also given simple music instruments such as drums, shakers, bells. The teacher is professional because she explained to us why our babies react a certain way, when she sensed that they are losing focus. The class mainly focused on English songs, and it'd be better if they could also include mother tongue songs (e.g. Mandarin/Malay songs).
Tried out their trial class for $30 and decided to enroll my 15 months old baby to the music and movement class cos he is very active and always love to dance to the music. Its always a joy to see him enjoying himself and swaying to the music. It is a 45min to 1 hr parent accompanied class - 1 lesson each week and each term is about 10 - 12 classes. My baby enjoyed most when the teacher actually blow bubbles in the class and the kids will be happily trying to catch and burst the bubbles. We were also given simple music instruments such as castanets, bells. The kids also love it when they got the chance to play with balls. Throughout the entire class, music will be on and the teacher will actually sing along. The teacher is rather professional because each time she sense that the kids are losing focus and attention, she will quickly change to something else. Overall, its quite relaxed and enjoyable.
