I brought my girl to Gymboree classes at Tanglin mall when she's still a cruising toddler. 1 class is around 45 mins. The teacher starts off with the standard “welcome song". After these the teacher have some motor skills activities for the toddlers to complete. After this is the free play session. After the free play session would be the bubble and parachute time which is my girl favorite part of the class. The singing of the teachers also makes it more fun. I love the singing that educate the kids right values in life, like the “clean up song” which encourages kids to keep the toys after play. The teachers can remember my girl name after the introduction song. The class is kept at a good size of around 10 kids so as to allow the teacher to be able to interact with every single kid. There are assistants around to ensure the safety of each kid and that the teacher actually goes around during free play to guide the kids on the activities. They have different stage of classes to cater for young babies to kids. The flooring is padded, we don’t really have to worry about her hurting herself so I allow her to explore on her own during free play. She also watches other kids and I’ve always hoped that it will encourage her to learn from other toddlers. Most importantly, from her laughter, i know she enjoy the class
