Description: Our Art Preparatory Programme aims to develop the children s basics and principles of art, drawing and painting with basic media. The programme is designed to nurture a foundation of love for art, by engaging the children s interest in drawing and colouring the familiar world around them with an entirely refreshing perspective. Specially selected themes are designed to be springboards for developing their creativity, patience and observation skills. The children gain a strong foundation in fine motor skills to prepare them for future art experiences. The sessions are held in small groups, and consists of exciting weeks that focus on basic to intermediate drawing and painting techniques, using oil pastels, poster and acrylic paints as colouring media. The children will explore crafts through basic sculptures and clay work. Children are involved in individual art projects, group art exploration sessions and multi-week craft projects to ensure that they are stimulated and engaged!

What I like about Artary is that it does not only teaches plain coloring and drawing, it combines art and craft into their art work i.e. their art work are usually with different textures, use of different medium and techniques in one art piece and so it looks more 3D than just plain. This makes the art work much more interesting. The class size is also small of about 8 to 10 students in the class with 1 to 2 teachers at a time. The teacher will constantly feedback on the topic learnt and the progress of my child. You can expect very creative piece of art work after every lesson.
I love that they are flexible in changing of timings and replacement classes especially for a busy working mom like me. My son has learnt many different techniques and the various form of art materials he can use to express himself in his art work. His art work are being displayed at home and has received many compliments from guests to our house. I am really proud of him. The teachers are very patient in guiding him and the constant feebacks are really useful as he will try to improve himself while doing art at home on his own. I like the idea that every week there is a theme that he can explore with and the art materials they use are of good quality. I am very pleased with his progress and love for art.
